Lobban 'El Gordito' 2017 Red Wine

Another project from Scottish winemaker Pamela Geddes, who forged her reputation with Spain’s only sparkling red wine. For El Gordito, a dry red, she selects fruit from the best vineyards in Jumilla, the blend is 80% dry grown Monastrell and 20% Shiraz, it spends 18 months in large french oak before bottling. The resulting wine is elegant, well structured with great drinkability.

This wine is named after Pamela’s brother (literally meaning ‘Wee Gordon’ as Pamela might say).
